Please End-VictusInvictus is a failure in of the key elements of filmmaking: Make the audience care. As an American, this was going to be no easy task. We dont know the first thing about Rugby, Eastwood doesnt really present the sport well, and whats worse is that he doesnt really present the events well. I came into the film being interested in the subject after studying it, and what happened before the events of most of this movie. The movie spends all of 30 seconds on this, thus giving no real context on why this is all important. But if theyd done that, it would have been hard to be invested anyways. Its a sports movie, but its not a sports movie, but it uses all the cliches of one. The result is a very fine balance the movie has to walk, but it ends up tripping over. When speaking of a portrayal of this subject matter, cheesy should NEVER be something you use to describe it at any point during the proceedings, but cheesy is the word Id use here more times than not, especially when it comes to the music.

Talking backagain, they shouldnt, but lots of teens do it. Im not so sure this is the stuff that lands kids in the county jail and Im not sure its necessarily the result of poor parenting. Its a poor choice that requires school-based and home-based consequences. Those consequences may very well have occurred, but if there was an article published on every kid that argued with a teacher over an ipod or cell phone, there would be more articles than we could all count in a day.

This is a gorgeous purse that has quickly become my favorite.
